One Stop strengthens the Northern Kentucky economy by providing easy access to the most comprehensive workforce readiness and development resources in the eight-county region. Beyond job matched placements, One Stop specializes in pre-hire and post-employment assessments, skills development and support services for companies and their employees.
Our Business Services Liaison will help match your workforce requirements with the business services offered by One Stop; an alliance of government, education and nonprofit partners. The action plan of selected business services is then implemented by our customer-focused One Stop partners and provided on a free, low cost or shared cost basis.

- Assistance for Military Veterans
- On-the-job training: 50% of wages paid during training (restrictions apply)
- Evaluation of business facilities for ADA compliance
- Targeted Jobs and Unemployment Tax credits
- Information on admission to local colleges and universities
- Assistance in locating interpreters for persons deaf/hard of hearing
- Rapid Response Teams – assists employers undergoing layoffs or transitions(see additional information below)
- Other community based support services available in selective cases
Rapid Response is a strategy designed to respond to layoffs and company closures. The Career Connections program assembles a team of representatives to go on-site to local companies to provide assistance and support to affected employees who are being separated from their jobs through no fault of their own.
